A 20 year-old gray Arabian female was presented for multiple cutaneous masses of the neck and perineum. The perineum masses were black and alopecic. Pleural effusion was also present and consisted of a modified transudate (Specific Gravity: 1.019, Total Protein: 2.7 g/dl, Nucleated Cells: 990X10e6/L). On microscopic examination, numerous melanocytes, free melanin pigments, and macrophages with phagocytosed pigments (Diff-Quick®, 500X original magnification) were present.
