Description: Macrophages having phagocytosed silicone micro-beads injected within tibio-tarsal joint of a horse. These macrophages have a three-dimensional aspect as evidenced by the movement of the micrometric screw. The nucleus is completely pushed aside to the periphery of the cytoplasm. |
