Morphology: calcium carbonate crystals are found in the urine (alkaline and neutral pH) of horses and goats. The crystals are colorless, sperical and they possess characteristic radial striations. The crystals vary in dimension and the smaller one must be differentiated from erythrocytes and fat globules.
