Calcium oxalate monohydrate crystals

These crystals are generally found in cases of ethylene glycol intoxication. Contrary to struvites, these crystals do not have a three-dimensional appearance, but rather present a two dimensional appearance and pointed extremities. They may also be rarely found normally in small quantities, or in association with oxalate calculi.
