Gremeq is an equine research group which was established in 1982. It was originally founded to unite researchers with an interest in fostering equine research in Quebec.Research students include Master’s degree students and D.E.S students who are enrolled in a residency program (either equine medicine or surgery). In addition to local graduates, many overseas students have participated in the research program. |

The group is
primarily interested in clinically oriented research focused principally in the areas of
the respiratory and musculoskeletal systems.
The ultimate goal is to improve equine health and performance.
