· Recherche en microbiologie environnementale.

- Prévalence à l'abattoir et évaluation du risque associé à la présence de Campylobacter chez le porc.
- Épidémiologie moléculaire de Campylobacter chez le poulet.
- Épidémiologie moléculaire et survie de Cryptosporidium parvum et Giardia dans l'environnement.
- Contrôle des infections de Salmonella chez le porc.
- Utilisation d'antimicrobiens et développement de résistance chez les souches bactériennes d'origine porcine.

- Augmentation des connaissances sur l'épidémiologie à la ferme des principaux pathogènes alimentaires.
- Optimisation des techniques de détection des pathogènes à l'abattoir.
- Caractérisation du risque pour l'homme associé à la présence de certaines souches bactériennes chez la volaille.
- Mise au point d'une épreuve sérologique de dépistage des porcs porteurs de Salmonella.
- Mise au point d'une épreuve sérologique de dépistage des porcs porteurs de Yersinia enterocolitica.
- Mise au point d'un vaccin contre les infections à S. suis.
