Mission statement

The Student Chapter of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management is open to both veterinary students and students in the animal health technician program who have an interest in pain management, not only in companion animals, but also in large animal and exotic species. The Student Chapter aims to improve students’ knowledge and skills as future animal health professionals by providing the opportunity to attend a variety of conferences and wet-labs that focus on the optimal treatment of pain in veterinary patients.
